Tollywood Hungama this Summer (2012)

This year would be the biggest summer (in terms of making business) for Tollywood! With movies like Ram Charan's Racha, NTR Jr.'s Dhammu, Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh & Rajamouli's Eega geared-up for release, industry will surely make a big money this summer (by the end of June).

Each of these four projects have been made with extreme care by the entire cast and crew (especially the lead actors/directors) of the respective projects for the following reasons: - 

1. The hottest topic of discussion in the industry from the last few years is that, "Who is the top hero of tollywood after Mega Star Chiranjeevi?". As we all know that Chiru has taken a big break from tollywood at almost final stage of his career (as hero), so its the time for some one else from the next generation heroes to occupy the seat that Chiru has left empty before joining the politics - i.e., the number 1 hero position...

But the history of telugu cinema reveals the fact that a very few heroes have managed to retain their top 1 position for multiple consecutive years, such as NTR, Krishna and Chiranjeevi. 

However, with a great difficulty and hard work, Super Star Mahesh Babu has now managed to score 2 back to back block buster hits recently (both the movies have occupied the top 6 movies list - in terms of collections) and proved himself as the top hero for the time being!!

2. Ram Charan, NTR Jr. & Pawan Kalyan - being strong contenders for Mahesh Babu will never give him a chance to continue in the top 1 position for a long time and hence are putting their best efforts to grab the Super Star's position by excelling in their upcoming summer releases - RACHA, DHAMMU & GABBAR SINGH!

3. With the changing generations and film making techniques, Directors of telugu cinema have also build the same level of reputation as that of top heroes and would like to retain their top position with the same competition by striving hard with their projects. One such hungry director is none other than SS Rajamouli, who never tasted a failure in his 10 Movie Career (10th movie EEGA yet to be released) as a director.

4. Ram Charan with a industry hit in his kitty (of course with the support from SS Rajamouli) tasted a very bad failure (with Orange) and is now very keen on tasting a big success to pull-back his dad's long retained top 1 position in the industry with his upcoming movie Racha (Directed by Sampath Nandi). In combination with Tamanna under the Mega Super Good Movies Banner (who are know for their best story selection), Charan along with Sampath are confident enough of delivering a biggest hit this summer.

Similarly, NTR Jr. who has challenged Mega Star - a long time back (when he has tasted a super success movie Simhadri, under the direction of SS Rajamouli) has two back-to-back failures at box-office is currently in situation of much desired success to prove his caliber. Under Boyapati Seenu's Direction, Dhammu (the tenth script  from the director okayed by NTR Jr.) will surely repeat the history of Simha once again and get the Jr. back to the form. Just released Dhammu's official trailer has already brought few shivers in the entire industry has a great chance of becoming a block buster hit if not an industry hit.

While Pawan Kalyan, the most powerful hero of tollywood is all set to pull the crowds to theatres once again with his Gabbar Singh this summer (under the direction of his die hard fan - Stubborn Harish Shankar - a great combination). Pawan has realized the importance of the success and want to show the real block buster of his stamina with this flick. DSP who is scoring the music for the movie will once again gives a block buster album (as Jalsa) and adds further value to the  Gabbar Singh. Lets wait to see the Power Star Pawan Kalyan's range hit movie, next month.

And now, the S(uper) S(uccess) Rajamouli's prestigious project Eega is also hitting the screens after a two year break from the star director - who usually delivers a block buster after taking such a long time for shooting (examples - Simhadri & Magadheera were block buster hits which were released after a long shooting period).

For the above mentioned 4 reasons all the 4 movies discussed are very prestigious for the above mentioned 4 gentlemen of the telugu cinema industry... So irrespective of the end result, all these movies will score a very high marks due to the timing, genres and costs involved in the respective projects. 

Thus, a sure shot 200 Crore business is going to happen in the coming 2-3 months in tollywood, only with these 4 flicks.
