Micromax launched projector phone in India for Rs 4,999

Micromax has announced the X40, its first phone that comes with a built-in projector. The projector lens is adjustable which helps you to change projection sizes on the viewing screen. It also features a multiple-format document reader that opens up Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint files for you. Like most other Micromax models, this one’s also a dual-SIM phone with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2.0MP camera, 80MB of internal memory, expandable memory up to 4GB with a microSD card, Bluetooth, Call Blacklist feature, FM radio, packs in a few apps like Facebook, Snaptu, Nimbuzz and also bundles in a tripod. The Micromax X40 projector phone is available at retail chains for Rs 4,999.

In my opinion, Micromax after gaining a decent market share in the Indian Market will certainly wont compromise in the quality and this model (Micromax X40) being its first projector phone, would become the highest selling phone in Q3 of 2011 (with its price band being just under Rs. 5K).

Wedding Anniversary

We are One Year Old Married Couple now! Wow time never stops, and this is another example..

I loved my life more last year, than before - interestingly I recovered well from a major/minor-surgery/accident and started driving bike from day before :) Hope ill re-gain all my energy back in a couple of weeks.

Weekend Updates...Mostly Outside!

Saturday Morning - Started with Karma Movie - Kept pending from longtime. Extra-ordinary Theme, but week presentation! Excellent concept without gripping narration. My Rating for the movie would be 2/5.

Had to go out in the evening, after a long gap of about 3 months - I drove my bike (for about 20 KMs). Then Second Show - Ravi Babu's Manasara, thought it is a brilliant effort - with an illogical story line and his usual cheap comedy track. While the Heroine was good looking the Hero was shown ugly, this is truly a very daring decision by both the Director and the Producer (as many of the tollywood audience will feel that Hero is the heart of the movie). Overall movie goes well with pleasant music, decent pictuarization and beautiful locations in songs. My Review for the movie would be 2.5/5.

Sunday - Outside Lunch followed by a long drive, again drove my bike for about 50 KMs this day! Drown in rain water, it was a different experience after so many years! Enjoyed sometime at my parent's place and returned back by late evening..

Late Night Show - The only movie on Sunday, was Jhummandi Naadam and it was my mistake of selecting this flick. Its wastage of my time to write on it - but one thing I wanted to mention is, I did "SHIFT+DELETE" the movie file, immediately after the end card. My Rating for the movie would be - 1.5/5.

Sharing my experience of watching Rangam Movie on DVD...

Yesterday, before coming to the office I have started watching the movie Rangam. Heard high about it and also believed it for the following reasons:

1) The Dubbed Movie Ran for 100 days in A.P. (These days even Big Budget Telugu Movies are also rarely happened to run 100 days). Its a real achievement!

2) Music by Harris Jayaraj - 2 songs in my top ten songs list, which I daily enjoy are from Rangam - (Ee Manchullo.... & Enduko Emo...) - even lyrics of these songs are meaningful and music is mesmerizing!

3) A powerful and griping story with excellent twists.

4) Screenplay is one of the best among the recent releases.

5) All the actors are involved in the movie completely and every audience enjoyed it thoroughly.

6) Production Values in the Movie! Picturization of Songs is a Real Visual Feast to every viewer..

In a hurry to coming to the office, I had to pause the movie for a long break of over 15 hours (Just after watching 45 Minutes of run time of the movie). Strucked in the office until 2:30 AM this morning due to the heavy rain and also because of a mistake by my regular cab driver..

After watching for 45 Mins, I always wanted to finish the movie at the earliest. But had to wait until I return from office, however reached home at 3.30 AM this morning and resumed the movie without any second thought (I had to reduce the volume and remove the home theatre connection - due to the time factor). Screenplay of the movie is absolutely great, it may be the background music or the music for songs - truly mesmerizing - great job by Harris Jayaraj! Narration of the story is too good, Director never did a mistake and actors never took a chance.. a complete team work. Interval Bang is amazing, what a super script!

Lack of sound effects is letting me down... but don't want to wait even a single minute, second half of the movie is little disappointing due to the dubbing work. It involves lot of emotion which should be carried by the actors (they did a decent job, but dubbing is dubbing - I missed the feel, for example each and every dialogue in the movie Leader - requires lot of emotion, which is a very challenging task for both director and an actor) and the lip synchronization with the dialogue is crucial.

Anyways if it was a straight telugu movie then, Director K.V. Anand would have done a fabulous job.... Getting into the movie once again, apart from a very few illogical and unconvincing scenes, the theme of the movie is superb.

I wanted to see these kind of movies (political/social genre movies) in telugu also very soon..

So called BIG Heroes of Tollywood - Please accept my request and listen to scripts like Rangam. I loved the way, the entire team of RANGAM worked on the project to produce this output.

Rangam is a 2011 Indian Tamil dubbed Telugu political thriller film directed by K. V. Anand starring Jeeva, Ajmal Ameer, newcomer Karthika Nair and Piaa Bajpai. The film was released on May to mostly positive reviews. The film is being remade into Hindi with Akshay Kumar depicting the role of Jeeva and Karthika Nair reprising her role.

Who is Anna Hazare ?

10 things to know about Anna Hazare 'n Jan Lok Pal Bill.. !

1. Who is Anna Hazare?
An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War

2. What's so special about him?
He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra

3. So what?
This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills.

In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village.

4. Ok,...?
This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities.

5. Really, what is he fighting for?
He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India.

6. How that can be possible?
He is advocating for a Bil, The Jan Lokpal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

It's an entirely new thing right..?
In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit their theft (corruption).

7. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time?
The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed.

Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the JAN LOKPAL BILL. 50% goverment participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant trust the government entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them.

8. Fine, What will happen when this bill is passed?
A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case, that has been going for last 25 years without any result.

9. Is he alone? Whoelse is there in the fight with Anna Hazare?
Baba Ramdev, Ex. IPS Kiran Bedi, Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal and many more.

Prominent personalities like Aamir Khan is supporting his cause.

10. Ok, got it. What can I do?
At least we can spread the message. How?

Putting status message, links, video, changing profile pics.

At least we can support Anna Hazare and the cause for uprooting corruption from India.

At least we can hope that his Hunger Strike does not go in vain.

At least we can pray for his good health.

Thanks for reading.

Wow! my favorite music director, Illayaraja for the legendary director Bapu Garu teaming up with Lyricist, Jonnavithula gave a melodious music once again! A Special thanks to Jonnavithula Garu for his meaningful lyrics..

Balu Garu sang 4 Songs (out of total 15 Songs) in this album and repeated his magic once again, as usual!

Doctor's Review at Kamineni Hospitals :) in the evening

Followed by the 3 Movies (Saturday & Sunday):

1) Rajneeti - I felt that it is one of the master pieces of Indian Cinema. Prakash Jha and his team never compromised any where - Best Movie (One can see few similarities with EPIC Mahabharath) - 4.5/5 (Climax should be much more gripping).

2) Veera (Telugu) - Excellent Screenplay, Energetic Performances, Week Story Line - Overall enjoyed the movie! - 3/5 (Lack of Care in Script Work and its implementation is clearly seen onscreen).

3) Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baab - Mind Blowing Performance by BigB with excellent dialogues, Thanks to Puri.. 3.75/5 (Short Length / Limited Story Line is one of the pitfalls of this movie).

Powerful Medicine for Dry & Irritating Cough - Codeine linctus BP

When I am struggling a lot with irritating dry cough, I met my doctor and as per his advice & prescription, am using Linctus Codeine. I just wanted to know more about it and started browsing internet and found the below information, please go through this article completely.

Source

Main use: Dry and irritating cough
Active ingredient: Codeine phosphate (linctus)
Manufacturer: Non-proprietary

How does it work?
Codeine phosphate belongs to a group of medicines called the opioids. It is a mild narcotic analgesic, similar to but weaker than morphine. It also suppresses the cough reflex in the central nervous system.

Coughing is a reflex to irritation of the airways. It is useful for clearing mucus, dust and other particles from the throat and lungs. It is important because it reduces the amount of mucous, dirt and bacteria that would otherwise make breathing difficult.

Sometimes, coughing can become persistent, even when there is no mucus to clear from the lungs or throat ("dry cough"). The coughing serves no purpose in keeping the lungs clear and can become painful and frustrating.

Codeine linctus and codeine linctus (paediatric) are used for the relief of unproductive, dry coughs.

What is it used for?

Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, other medicines may be safely used in pregnancy or breastfeeding providing the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the unborn baby.
