Allu Arjun's Badrinadh is slated to release on 10th June 2011.

Its almost an year, Allu Arjun was seen onscreen (Vedam being his last release on June 4th 2010). As one of the biggest fans of Allu Arjun, I wanted to post this article to promote his 10th Movie Badrinath, the biggest budget movie (over 40 Crores) ever made by Geetha Arts!!

Though we have seen a disaster in the form of Jr. NTR's much hyped Shakti, from a star producers company; The story of Badrinath is totally different with the extremely talented technicians teamed up to develop a flick that is ready to set new records in terms of collections for much deserved performer - Allu Arjun..

Lets see how is this movie planned for Allu Arjun:

No one would have expected that Arjun's first movie Gangotri will become a huge hit, with the kind of costumes he was given and the way he was shown in it. But he created history by becoming the debutant hero with maximum number of 100 days centers (Gangotri - 100 days in 54 centers).

2003 Gangotri
2004 Arya
2005 Bunny
2006 Happy
2007 Desamuduru
2008 Parugu
2009 Arya 2
2010 Varudu
2010 Vedam
2011 Badrinath

Above list shows that Badrinath is his 10th Movie as a hero. Though Arjun is making movies at a very slow pace (only one an year), he never failed in impressing audience with his quality performance - he rocked all the way starting from Gangotri, Arya to Vedam..

Being the nephew of two of the big stars of Telugu cinema - Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan; Son of the ace producer Allu Arvind; Grandson of legendary comedian Allu Ramalingaiah; he has got solid filmy background. But Arjun never utilized any other external power to win awards (He just won only two prestigious awards - Winner, Filmfare Best Actor Award (Telugu) - Winner, Nandi Special Jury Award - both for his 6th Movie Parugu - and every movie critic knows that he excelled in it and deserves for the same) rather concentrated on his career to become a super star by learning varied topics of cinema - and now with his 10th Movie, Badrinath in his 10th year in the industry (his first movie, Daddy released 0n 4th October 2001), wants to show what he is...

Now comes the above mentioned background team of his - who has set all the required ingredients for a block buster & remarkable hit movie for him. Arjun is now a 10 year-10 Movie Old Telugu Film Hero who already tasted big success and have his solid fans base!

Chinni Krishna prepared a most powerful and suitable story for Allu Arjun (Story Writer of Gangotri - Chinni Krishna is actually ready with Badrinath script in 2004 itself and wanted to direct it. But could not able to do so and the project was shelved due to difference in opinion with the producer regarding a sequence in the story). Chinni Krishna in one of the interviews told that, "Had I changed the scene, I would have become a director by then, but since I believed the story I did not make changes. After 6 years, the same script is now taking shape under the direction of VV Vinayak on Allu Aravind’s banner.” About his 10 years of film career he said, “Making money is not my prime aim. According to me, it is not the quantity or money matters but the quality stuff that we provide. My main aim is that the audience should appreciate the stories provided by me to the directors and producers. Top film personalities like James Cameroon, Raj Kapoor, Bhagyaraj, etc., have inspired me to do quality films. Hence I did just 4 films in these 10 years.”
Revealing his life time ambition he said, “It was my life time amtbition to do a film with Aamir Khan with a script that would break the box office records of '3 Idiots' and also win an Oscar award. Very soon I’m going to narrate the script to him.” One can imagine how would be the story line of Badrinath, from such an ambitious & stubborn writer!!

VV Vinayak, who directed Aadhi with Jr. NTR, Chennakesava Reddy with Balakrishna, Lakshmi with Venkatesh and Tagore with Chiranjeevi is all set to entertain the telugu audience once again with Allu Arjun in Badrinath. No doubt he is the best directors of tollywood. Is in't it?

Peter Heins is still remembered by every movie audience for his best fight sequences, whether it may be in Chatrapathy or in Magadheera - which plays a crucial role in the success of the film! Peter does the best for Arjun's Badrinath...

Anand Sai - See the Wallpapers, one can easily visualize his creativity from his past movies starting from Toliprema to Shakti. Anand Sai is the Art Director for 9 Movies of Pawan Kalyan & 5 Other Movies of Mega family i.e., total 14 Movies in the last 13 years starting from 1998 with Toliprema - that is the confidence megafamily has on Anand. Especially when the movie is a high budget one, audience can definetly expect more.

Cinematography - Ravi Varman, ISC, is a celebrated Director Of Photography of India. He has shot many award winning films in Indian languages of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English. Known for his realistic picturization and poetic framing sense, Ravi Varman began his career in Malayalam films. He won one of the prestigious awards, ITFA Best Cinematographer Award for Dasavathaaram (2009)

MM Keeravani - Already audio is released and 3 songs are super hit - Ambadhari, Chiranjeeva, Vasudhaara.. apart from others. His BGM really turns the movie like anything, just as in his Sye, Chatrapathi, Yama Donga, Magadheera among others. Surely he will repeat this magic with his BGM in Badrinath...

Allu Arjun with his 10 years of experience (Badrinath being his 10th Movie) wanted to show what he is. While Tamanna already started proving herself in south will surely put her best efforts in Badrinath to reach the top position in tollywood. Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Shinde, Rao Ramesh, Dharmavarapu, Krishna Bhagwan, Tanikeella Bharani, etc., are already in the list of the best supporting actors. And remember, the record breaker - Allu Arvind is the Producer of this Movie who already spent over Rs. 40 Crore for the best end product.

Cast:
Allu Arjun & Tamanna - Lead Pair
Prakash Raj, Kelly Dorgee, Brahmanandam, Shayaji Shinde, Rao Ramesh, Dharmavarapu Subrahmaniam, Venu Madhav, Krishna Bhagawan, Tanikella Bharani, M S Narayana, Rajan Kapoor, Bharath, Rakesh, Harry Josh, Master Sai Koti, Sudha, Pragathi, Kovai Sarala, Aswini Kala Sekhar, Geeta Singh, Kalyani, Prabhakar, Adi Rajendra, Master Rhythm, Baby Anjali, etc.

Crew:
Banner: Geetha Arts
Presenter: Padmashri Allu Ramalingaiah
Story & Screenplay: Chinni Krishna
Story Assistance: Sri Vissu
Dialogues: Rajendra Kumar
Editing: Gautham Raju

Production Controllers: Babu, GGK Raju
Co-director: K Pulla Rao
Chief Co-director: Thota Ramakrishna

Having said this, Badrinath will certainly have the capacity to beat Magadheera Records! Lets see if Allu Aravind repeats his magic of creating new records!!

Engineering Students - Project Work - Hovercraft

Read the below article posted in Eenadu News Paper on 20th May 2011 (Page 10), Very Interesting for Engineering Students..:

Download the Picture and Read.....

Article Source: Eenadu News Paper.

Note:
A hovercraft (air-cushion vehicle, ACV) is a craft capable of traveling over surfaces while supported by a cushion of slow moving, high-pressure air which is ejected against the surface below and contained within a "skirt." Although supported by air, a hovercraft is not considered an aircraft.

Hovercrafts are used throughout the world as specialized transports. They can also be used after a natural disaster for emergency purposes. Because they are supported by a cushion of air, hovercraft are unique among all other forms of ground transportation in their ability to travel equally well over land, ice, and water. Small hovercraft are used for sport or passenger service, while giant hovercraft have civilian and military applications, and are used to transport cars, tanks, and large equipment in hostile environments and terrain.

Microsoft has bought Skype for $8.5 Billion

Microsoft has bought Skype for $8.5 billion, in an all cash deal. The deal closed a few hours ago. The announcement is likely to come out later today or tomorrow morning, according to several reports. Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft is said to be a big champion of the deal, the largest in the history of the company. Mr. Ballmer and Skype CEO Tony Bates will host a press conference in a few hours.

Skype has been up for sale for some time, thanks to some very antsy investors. My sources indicated that the both eBay and Silver Lake Partners have been getting nervous about the delayed initial public offering and have been pushing for a sale of Skype. Facebook and Google were said to be earlier dance partners for Skype, and Microsoft was a late entrant and is now close to walking away with the prize.

It won’t surprise me if Microsoft comes in for major heat on this decision to buy Skype — and the software company could always botch this purchase, as it often does when it buys a company. The Skype team is also full of hired guns who are likely to move on to the next opportunity rather than dealing with the famed Microsoft bureaucracy.

I also don’t believe that Facebook and Google were serious buyers. Google, with its Google Voice offering, doesn’t really need Skype. In essence, I feel that Microsoft was bidding against itself. Even then, I personally think this is a bet worth taking, especially for a company that has been left out in the cold for so long.

Skype gives Microsoft a boost in the enterprise collaboration market, thanks to Skype’s voice, video and sharing capabilities, especially when competing with Cisco and Google.
It gives Microsoft a working relationship with carriers, many of them looking to partner with Skype as they start to transition to LTE-based networks.
It would give them a must-have application/service that can help with the adoption of the future versions of Windows Mobile operating system.
However, the biggest reason for Microsoft to buy Skype is Windows Phone 7 (Mobile OS) and Nokia. The software giant needs a competitive offering to Google Voice and Apple’s emerging communication platform, Facetime.
Guess Who’s The Big Winner

The biggest winner of this deal could actually be Facebook. The Palo Alto-based social networking giant had little or no chance of buying Skype. Had it been public, it would have been a different story. With Microsoft, it gets the best of both worlds — it gets access to Skype assets (Microsoft is an investor in Facebook) and it gets to keep Skype away from Google.

Facebook needs Skype badly. Among other things, it needs to use Skype’s peer-to-peer network to offer video and voice services to the users of Facebook Chat. If the company had to use conventional methods and offer voice and video service to its 600 million plus customers, the cost and overhead of operating the infrastructure would be prohibitive.

Facebook can also help Skype get more customers for its SkypeOut service, and it can have folks use Facebook Credits to pay for Skype minutes. Skype and Facebook are working on a joint announcement and you can expect it shortly.

Why Did Skype Want To Sell?

Skype had filed for an IPO and was going to do about a billion dollars in revenues and was on its way to becoming profitable. So why sell? Silver Lake and eBay were both getting impatient and wanted to lock in their profits. Some sources also believe that Skype’s revenues had stalled.

The company had bet heavily on is video sharing service. The premium version of video calling and sharing was a way for Skype to increase its average revenue per user and move into the enterprise market. However, given Skype’s DNA is that of a consumer Internet company, the challenges are not a surprise.

So Who Made What?

Using the $8.5 billion price as the likely sale price, eBay gets $2.55 billion for its 30 percent stake in Skype. So in the end, eBay did make money on the Skype deal.

The Skype Founders
Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis, the co-founders with their 14-percent stake, take home about $1.19 billion. Damn, these guys know how to double dip!

Silver Lake, Andreessen Horowitz and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) own 56 percent of the company and that stake is worth $4.76 billion.

Andreessen Horowitz had 3 percent of the deal and made $205 million profit on their $50 million initial investment.

100% Love Movie Review - by Chaitanya Kumar Vummethala

Simply Superb - Creativity at its best anipinchukunnaru, Sukumar!

100% Love is an extra ordinary movie (except climax) by Sukku after an excellent attempt Aarya2. Starting from the Script work - Screenplay, Dialogues, Selection of Casting for Roles, Music, Cinematography, Costumes & Art - every thing simply superb!

Story & Direction: Superb story ani cheppanu kaani thanu anukunna line ni chaala adbuthamgaa theerchi dhiddhadamlo thanaki thaane saati anipinchukunnaadu Sukumar Gaaru. Screenplay & Editing: Hari Prasad's Screenplay is definitely one of the asset for the success of the movie & Sreenivasa Karthik's job of editing is impressive expect that in climax.

Prasthutham vunna tough competition ni thattukovadaaniki chaala efforts peduthunnadu ani ee movie choosthey evarikainaa ittey ardhamavuthundhi. When it comes to Tamanna, I can strongly tell that she will bring lot many successes to the Tollywood with the kind of roles she is choosing and giving her best to those roles. She has done an amazing job in 100% Love! Sukumar once again proved that Child Artists can do wonders, by taking as many kids as possible in the movie. Pillalandharu chaaala chaaala baaga entertain chesaaru. KR Vijaya Gaaru, Vijay Kumar, Naresh, Dharmavarapu, and others did justice to their confined roles.

Over all analysis: 1st half motham pillala acting cum dialogues tho manaspoorthigaa navvisthoo, top rank student life style elaa vunthundhi aney concept tho modhalu petti, hero ego factor choopisthoo, chinna family sentiment tho love storyni mix chesaadu. This weekend I have to buy a new Bike!

This weekend I may go for a bike shopping. After a thorough research, I want to buy a brand new bike (specifically Honda/Hero Honda). This is the time for my friends and well wishers to really give me a suggestion (atleast they should suggest, which bike I should not buy).

Hey guys, I don't need above bike (Just Liked the Picture, so posted here)! What I am actually looking for is a 100/110CC Bike which should be a light weight (somewhere around 100KG), stylish look (like Hero Honda Splendor - Classic), decent mileage (anything > 60 KMPL), comfortable seating and technically advanced and smooth.

I was using Hero Honda Splendor Plus since January 2006 (just over 5 years now) until yesterday. We both (myself and my wife) were on the way to attend a family function yesterday morning @ Kukatpally, this incident happened (My Bike troubled me - Stopped in the middle of the road) and I had to struggle a bit to take it to the hospital (Hero Honda Show Room, near Kukatpally). There I have decided to exchange/sell it!

So my dear friends let me know if anyone is interested to purchase my old Hero Honda Splendor Plus Bike (Specifications Below):

Model - 2006 (Purchased from Sri Lakshmi Motors, Dilsukhnagar on 25th Jan 2006).

Avg Mileage - 65 (On Highways, I will get 70 KMPL Mileage* @ 50 KMPH & On City Roads it is 60 KMPL)

Battery has zero power in it (I mean its exhausted!).

Front Indicator Lights, Futt (They are broken).

It has almost New MRF Back Tyre, which was just one year old purchased by me on 21st May 2010.

Though its engine's life is currently at risk (after about 80K KMs Run), after every regular Servicing (for every 2000 KMs) my bike looks pretty. I mean it needs to get some bike surgery, which may cost about 3K-5K. An additional 2K-3K may take to make it brand new, so if one can spend about 5K-8K to the addition of 20K (my expectation for the bike) then they can get a great Hero Honda Splendor Plus Bike for just 25K-28K.

Ill also update few more details along with the latest picture of it, when I get a chance...

Investigators question Akbaruddin attackers

May 2, 2011 DC Correspondent Hyderabad
Source: Deccan Chronicle

Investigators are questioning accused Hassan Bin Omer Yafai, who attacked with a knife and Mohammed Bin Saleh Wahlan who shot Mr Owaisi. While one of the attackers, Ibrahim, died, two other accused, Abdullah Bin Younus Yafai and Awad Bin Younus Yafai, are being treated at the Yasodha Hospital. Four other suspects, Esa Yafai, Yaheya Yafai, Saif Yafai and Haneef Yafai are absconding.

Akbaruddin OwaisiPolice are also verifying the claims of a few accused who said that the attack was a spur-of-the-moment act and not pre-planned. Meanwhile, Mr Asaduddin Owaisi, MIM MP and brother of Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi, has asked the city police commissioner, Mr A.K. Khan to appoint the CCS ACP, Mr Maddipati Srinivas, as investigating official in the case. Mr Srinivas earlier worked with the Task Force as Inspector of Police.

However, the home department has asked Crime Investigation Department sleuths to follow up the case side by side with the CCS. The home minister, Ms P. Sabita Indra Reddy, said, “The case has been handed over to the Central Crime Station. Special teams have been formed to probe the case. Three DCPs have been appointed to supervise the investigation.”

The Task Force DCP, Mr V.B. Kamalasan Reddy, and the CCS DCP, Mr J. Satyanarayana, are among two DCPs who are investigating the case. The A.P. Police has decided to reopen the history-sheet against Pahelwan in the wake of the latest incident. It is learnt that Mr Asaduddin has told top functionaries of the government that he had gone to the residence of Pahelwan but he didn’t come out for more than half an hour and kept him waiting.
However, sources close to Pahelwan said that he had tried to patch up with the Owaisi family but in vain.

Akbar hit with Cricket Bat after fall - Says Witness - Barkas Corporator

May 2, 2011 DC Correspondent Hyderabad.
Source: Deccan Chronicle

Mr Mansoor Bin Mohammed Awalgi, the Barkas corporator, who witnessed Saturday’s attack on the Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA, Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi, said: “At around 10.30 am, I came to the Barkas office as Mr Owaisi was coming to meet me after completing the padayatra. Balala saab was also coming after inspecting a school. They arrived at the same time. After around half an hour they prepared to leave. Akbar saab sat in the front seat of his Gypsy. In the rear seat sat Jameel Nawab saab, a former corporator of Kanchanbagh and Samad Bin Abdad, the Uppugudu corporator. The vehicle of Balala saab was driven by his driver Saleem.”

“As the vehicles started to move, one of the attackers, Hassan Bin Omar Yafai, came on a Honda Activa scooter and dumped it in front of Akbar saab’s Gypsy to prevent it from moving. “Hasan attacked with the knife and Akbar saab was injured in his left hand as he resisted. Meanwhile, from the driver’s side, Abdullah Bin Younus Yafai armed with a revolver, opened fire at Akbar saab. The MLA’s driver Osman, put out his left hand forward to save Akbar saab and a bullet hit his left palm. Meanwhile, Akbar saab ducked to save himself but Abdullah Younus fired again hitting Akbar saab in the stomach and he pulled Osman out of vehicle. Abdullah fired a third time and hit Akbar saab again in the stomach.

“From the other side, Mohammed Bin Saleh Wahlan, also armed with a revolver fired at Akbar saab who had fallen out of the Gypsy by then. My brother, Mohammed Bin Mohammed Awalgi, sustained a bullet injury on the fingers of his left hand. One Fayaz Khan, son of Mohammed Kareem Khan, who came to Akbar saab’s rescue was also injured as a bullet grazed his stomach,” he added. Meanwhile, Ibrahim Bin Yousuf Yafai, armed with a knife, stabbed Mr Owaisi in his ribs. Another attacker, Awad Bin Younus Yafai attacked Mr Owaisi with a cricket bat. When one Mohsin Kaseri tried to prevent the attack, he was beaten on the head with the cricket bat.

“Then I came forward to prevent the attack on Akbar saab, however, I was hit with a cricket bat on my back. At the same time, Balala saab rushed to save Akbar saab and he caught hold of the revolver in the hands of Abdullah Bin Yousuf. Several other persons had gathered around the Gypsy by then to prevent Akbar saab from leaving the place. At that time Balala saab was also attacked. I heard gunfire. Later, Akbar saab was picked up from the road and placed in the front seat of the Gypsy.”

Those who witnessed Saturday’s attack on the Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA, Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi, said that the assailants did not back off even after he fell off the jeep with bullet and knife injuries.

The attackers even prevented Mr Owaisi’s aides to remove him from the spot.

Mr Owaisi ducked inside the jeep but the attackers followed him and two shooters pumped bullets into him from two sides.Mr Mansoor Bin Mohammed Awalgi, the Barkas corporator, who witnessed the incident, said the assailant concentrated on Mr Owaisi. Two men armed with revolvers shot at him while one armed with a butcher knife and another with a cricket bat attacked him.

If the security officer of the MLA, Mr Ahmed Balala, Mr Mohammed Jani, hadn’t returned the assailants’ fire, the outcome of the incident would have been totally different. Thanks to Mr Jani, the attackers backed away from Mr Owaisi and he was quickly lifted from the car and rushed to the hospital.
