How To Apply For Voter ID Card Online

A Voter ID card is considered an important identity document for several purposes in India. It can serve as a photo identity in several situations such as when applying for a loan, at a domestic airport, to open a bank account, and so on. If you do not have one, getting one is easy. We will show you one method involving most of the steps online.

2. In the next page that opens, click on "Register to vote"

3. You will be provided with a form to fill up on the next page that opens. Enter the Jaago Re Login ID you wish to use, your password, mobile number and email address and click on Continue.

4. In the next page, choose Y for both the choices and click on Continue.

    hi chaitanya,
    i've applied a transpose of my voter card but failed to save a pdf and forgot to record the id on app. any hope of getting that?

      Dear Mr. John,

      If your full name is JOHN KENNEDY GEORGE.

      Then your application number is F8A-0006556, and the good news is that your application is accepted and you can collect your card near miyapur/chanda nagar/kphb.

      Find that info here - http://123.176.47.59/Status/Searchdetails8A.aspx?AppID=F8A-0006556&FormType=Form8A

      You have an option to search your status by providing details such as name and application type here - http://123.176.47.59/Status/Search.aspx

      If your name is not JOHN KENNEDY GEORGE, then please ignore and search again with correct details.

      Use "Search Your Name" menu option from this site - http://www.ceoandhra.nic.in/ceonew/home.aspx - to search for the status, it will display your details and the eSeva center where you can obtain it from. In case if it does not display the eSeva / meeSeva center name, then you can visit the nearest eSeva to your constituency to get your card.

      Upon providing your voter id card no. the eSeva ppl will take a print copy of your voter id card and laminate it and prepare a card just in mins. They would charge about 10/- to 20/- for the same.

    i want to change my adress and date of birth in my voter id do i need to fill both 8 and 8(a) forms plz do reply..

      In case if your old voter id card has different address which is of another constituency then that of your current address's constituency, then you must go for Form 8a - otherwise just Form 8.

      If your new address falls under the same assembly constituency, then just fill Form 8. Don't go for Form 8a.
