Arvind Kejriwal's debut victory over INC reminds NTR's 1983 triumph

Assembly election 2013: Arvind Kejriwal sweeps Sheila Dikshit right out of her constituency

New Delhi: In  a mega political bender, rookie politician  Arvind Kejriwal has defeated three-time chief minister Sheila Dikshit in her constituency of New Delhi. (Mango man Arvind Kejriwal tastes sweet success)

The 44-year-old emerged after hours of meditation at his party office, wearing his trademark white Gandhi cap. "This is a victory of the people...it shows India has won, democracy has won," he said to a huge crowd of supporters, all brandishing brooms, the symbol of his one-year-old Aam Aadmi party.

Voters mercilessly spurned Ms Dikshit and her party, permitting the incumbent Congress less than 10 of Delhi's 70 seats. The BJP has emerged as the single-largest party in the capital with 34 seats, one short of the half-way mark. If the results deliver a hung assembly for Delhi, Mr Kejriwal is emphatic that he will not align with either the Congress or the BJP. (All you wanted to know about Sheila Dikshit but didn't know who to ask)

The symmetrical stellar performances of Mr Kejriwal and his AAP imputed a double take the Congress and the BJP, who repeatedly dismissed the new organization as an upstart throughout  the campaign for Delhi.

Ignoring those dismissals, an army of meticulously-organized volunteers spread Mr Kejriwal's message: that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stands for anti-corruption, service and accountability in a country robbed of effective and clean governance.

The record 65.86% turnout  in Delhi is being attributed partly to an enthusiastic welcome for the AAP, formed after Mr Kejriwal split from his one-time partner Anna Hazare. In 2011, they invigorated middle class India with a movement demanding the Lopkal bill, the genesis for a new national ombudsman or Lokpal empowered to investigate charges of venality against elected representatives and bureaucrats.

But after a strong launch, the movement dissipated; Mr Kejriwal said he had no choice but to enter politics, a move Anna said he could not get behind.

Tollywood Hungama this Summer (2012)

This year would be the biggest summer (in terms of making business) for Tollywood! With movies like Ram Charan's Racha, NTR Jr.'s Dhammu, Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh & Rajamouli's Eega geared-up for release, industry will surely make a big money this summer (by the end of June).

Each of these four projects have been made with extreme care by the entire cast and crew (especially the lead actors/directors) of the respective projects for the following reasons: -

Oosaravelli Movie Review - by Chaitanya Kumar Vummethala

This should be a certain hit to join the tollywood hits league of 2011 (due to the seasonal release).

With timing being most appropriate, much hyped-prestigious project (made with a pool of recognized and talented team) for a big budget movie release, Oosaravelli has got a very good scope to break the box-office records. However, for various reasons this movie is for sure not going to rock the box-office collections in the coming weeks. Surender Reddy must have prepared this movie for Ravi Teja who is generally capable of managing such scripts with his usual style of acting. Oosaravelli is definitely not a tailor made movie for NTR Jr.

Having said that NTR Jr., has did his best in Oosaravalli, but to meet the expectations on the movie, both the Director & Script Writer should have done a bit more to do the justice. While DSP and Rasool Ellore, excelled in their respective departments other technicians did their bit as per the requirement.

Shakti Movie Review - Chaitanya Kumar Vummethala

Shakti Movie inthaka mundhey choosaanu (just 2nd show choosochaa), Ippudu nidrapovaali..Adhenti, Movie Review ani heading petti - nidra povaali antunnadenti anukuntunnara?

Artham chesukondi - movie gurinchi entha thakkuva maatlaadukunte antha manchidhi, kaani 250/- karchupettanu kaabatti (ante naaku natho vachina inko mugguriki kalipi) naa abhiprayam short gaa chebutha vinandi....

Story - Meher Ramesh, Yandamuri Veerendranath, DS Kannan & JK Bharavi - naluguru kalisi kastapadi prepare chesaaru kaabatti bagaaney vundhi kaani Script Pakadbandheega Chesukoledhu, more over ilanti storyki shakti vunna director kaavali.

Ika pothey Director - Meher babuki ee saari super idea vachindhi - Adhentante: Pokiri & Magadheera rendu block buster hits kaabatti - Shakti kadha koodaa vaatini base chesukuni prepare chesthey output alaagey vasthundi anukoni start chesi rendu moodu identical points ni movielo imadchaadu (eg., under cover cop - super hypetho revealing cheyadam, sainikudilaa kaapaadey vamsham, yodhudu, dialogues - with 2 different generations, high budget sets etc.,). Kaakapothey silly fellow, oka point marchipoyaadu - adhi, movie story entha goppagaa vundhi anna point kanna aa story ni entha goppagaa prekshakulaki choopinchaamu anna vishayame important ani. Presenting sangathi ala vunchithey, paina cheppinattu scriptey sariggaa prepare chesukoka povadam chaala bhaadhakaramaina vishayam (adhi kooda ilaanti bhaari budget movieki) .

Coming back to Music Director: edho velathi clear gaa kanipinchindhi - BGM OK anipinchinaa, Songs lo pale gaa theylipoyaadu Mani Sharma. Ilaanti movies ki BGM entho strong gaa vundaali, more over songs lo sooooper anipinchelaanti music ivvali - rendu miss ayyaayi!

Castinglo - Krishna Baghvan, Maro Iddaru Mugguriki tappa movielo evariki kadha meedha pattu (grip) ledhu ani cheppukovachu (including Jr. NTR) - it is the minimum responsibility for every major actor/actress in the movie to know/involve in the subject very much or atleast Director should take care of it. Oka movie hit avvaali antey andhuloni characters andharu perform cheyaali (subject artham chesukoni perform cheyyali) - ee simple formula directorki theliyadu kaabolu paapam :(

Fights, Comedy, Dialogues - veeti gurunchi entha thakkuva maatlaadithey anta manchidhi!

Sameer Reddy, Anand Sai did a bit decent job, chaala rojula tharuvaatha Ileana ni chaala baaga choopinchaaru. Sets & Locations kooda baagunnayi.

Jr. NTR - yelaagainaa Magadheera Records baddalu kodadhaamu anukunnadu (nijaaniki ntr can do it) but thanaki hit kottadaaniki formula and secret theliyadhu (ofcourse dhaaniki luck and support kooda vundaali). Success rate ekkuva vundaali antey - hero just ekkuva kastapadithey chaaladhu, ekkuva aalochinchaali kooda (from audience point of view).

Overall gaa bhaari level lo hit avvaalsini movie (konni jaagrathalu theesukoni vundi vuntey), chaalaa dharunamgaa fut ayyindhi (chaalaa thappulu cheyyadam valla). Naa sincere advise to Meher Ramesh is to do a small budget film (with less than a Crore) and try for a hit, at least this time with strong confidence, but not with over confidence!

Highlights: Hero Cop ani choopinchina scene - it was tooo good.

My Rating for this movie is 2/5 - Worst but not boring.
