Corruption at its peak! Is India the Greatest Country?.....
Hi Friends (All Indians),
I am writing this blog with a great emotion, pain and deep insight into the current political system. Its the time for all of us to seriously start thinking about our country....India (a Greatest Country)... It is the time for all of us to know what is Geography/Economics/Civics & History of India - Yes I mean - Social Studies, because it is the actual requirement of the country.
Urgent requirement for true politicians (Leaders) in India!
India is in need of political leaders today! Treat this as a National Emergency and support our country by showing the right path atleast to your children - made them Socialists - if not politicians/leaders..
We are watching so many movies, reading so many articles and news about the current political system in the country - by this time we would have already understood what is our mistake and where are we lagging!
I found it: Yes! We are lagging in producing genuine citizens and politicians for the country. It is not just enough to have 100000 good politicians for a Billion people country, we need Millions of leaders (Politicians) with a deep understanding about the political system, with a capability and mindset of developing the Country. (Here I am talking about the true development of the country - not just rockets and economic growth!)
Now stop fighting for unnecessary stupid causes/reasons , which will actually spoils the fate of the country with the useless politicians, whose only intention is to steal country's wealth. I have also enclosed a PDF Document with this blog (Corrupted India). Every Indian must read and understand this document. We can then make our children - Engineers and Doctors!
Think seriously about our country and start producing - Humanists and Socialists - believe me it hardly takes time. Then we can proudly say that - India is the Greatest Country

Every Politician is not a Corruptionist! A PM who Paid when sons used Official Car...
A true meaning of a politician!
New Delhi: At a time when Indian politicians make news for corruption and misuse of power comes a book on Lal Bahadur Shastri, the country's second prime minister who was so upright that he deposited money in government coffers because his sons had used his official car.
The incident has been captured in the book 'Lal Bahadur Shastri: Past Forward' (Konark) by his son Sunil Shastri, a Congress politician and a former minister in Uttar Pradesh.
Sunil Shastri says he used to imagine having a big luxury car commensurate with the status of his 'babuji'(father) and Lal Bahadur Shastri did get a Chevrolet Impala for official use.
'One day I told babuji's personal secretary to ask the driver to bring the Chevrolet to the residence. We asked the driver for the keys and went for a drive,' he says in the book.
Lal Bahadur Shastri later confronted the driver, saying, 'Do you keep a logbook with you?' 'When he nodded, babuji asked him to note the distance the car had run the previous day. When the driver said 14 km, he advised him to note it 'for private use' and then asked amma to give his personal secretary the amount applicable to be deposited in the government account.'
Lal Bahadur Shastri ruled from June 1964 to January 1966, dying in Tashkent where he had gone to sign a treaty with Pakistan after the 1965 war.
The book is replete with instances of how the late Shastri lived - and the values he embraced and preached.
The son recalls how Lal Bahadur Shastri had shed tears upon meeting an Indian soldier badly wounded in the 1965 war with Pakistan.
'I don't have tears in my eyes because my death is near ... but despite being a major I am not able to stand up and salute my prime minister,' the younger Shastri quotes the soldier, who was on a hospital bed, as saying.
And then it was the prime minister who could not control his own emotions. That was the only time he saw his father cry, says his son.
There are many interesting anecdotes on Shastri in the book.
* Lal Bahadur Shastri was told by his mother of his marriage in May 1928 only after he reached Varanasi. 'He was surprised and told his mother that she should have at least asked him once before finalising it. Anyhow since his mother had decided, he said he would abide by her wishes.'
* When Lal Bahadur Shastri's wife decided to learn Hindi, she paid the tuition fees by dispensing with the domestic maid and doing the household chores herself.
* Lal Bahadur Shastri often handed over to his wife his khadi kurtas when they became unusable and asked her to make handkerchiefs out of them. 'He lived on the simple philosophy of 'waste not, want not'.'
* In true Gandhian style, Lal Bahadur Shastri travelled like a commoner in trains even when he was railway minister. 'He lived according to his principles.'
* During the independence struggle, Lal Bahadur Shastri protested when his wife smuggled two mangoes to him when he was in the Faizabad prison. He was angry because it was illegal for prisoners to have anything other than jail food.
* Despite his preoccupations as prime minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri was a family man who devoted time to his mother and others when he returned home. It helped him get over the day's fatigue and worries.

Chiranjeevi - The Last Word - Andhra’s White Knight
"Megastar-turned-politician Chiranjeevi plays a saviour for the distressed Congress but doubts remain about his ability to emerge as a rallying point" - Suresh Dharur
On screen he is a hero, whose action thrillers had earned him innumerable fans. He has rescued several damsels in distress on celluloid, but coming to the rescue of a political party was a new one for Chiranjeevi. The Telugu superstar, whose career spans three decades, was a godsend for the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh as it faced the prospect of destabilisation from the rebel camp led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The ageing matinee idol sealed a deal with 10, Janpath, and merged his 30-month-old Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) with the Congress party recently. The merger marks a turning point in the state politics and may well signal a realignment of political forces. It comes at a time when the government is shaky, amidst growing fears that the Jagan camp may attempt to dislodge it. The Congress has 155 MLAs in the 294-member House, just seven more than the half-way mark. It is estimated that about 25 legislators are backing Jagan Reddy.
The entry of the megastar into its fold has provided the much-needed oxygen for the ruling party. With its tally of 18 MLAs, the PRP’s support becomes crucial for survival of the Kiran Reddy government in case of a split in the Congress. It also comes in handy for the Congress in the event of a showdown with its leaders from Telangana, who have been threatening to quit their posts if the Centre fails to grant statehood for the region.
Dark and handsome, 55-year-old Chiru, as he is referred to in film circles, is a mass hero in the mould of the late N T Rama Rao and his image is one of a do-gooder, kind-hearted and a loving family man. When he took the plunge into politics in August 2008, promising “social justice and change”, many hoped that he might repeat the magic of NTR, the demigod of the tinsel world, and emerge as an alternative to the two main contenders for power --- the Congress and the Telugu Desam Party.
Despite his clean image and hugely successful road shows, Chiranjeevi failed to convert his star power into votes and his party virtually bombed at the electoral box office, drawing a blank in the Lok Sabha while managing to win just 18 seats in the 294-member Assembly. Since then, it has been a bumpy political journey for the megastar in the face of desertions and steady erosion of the support base.
From a nondescript village in the coastal Andhra to stardom in the tinsel world and then to the centrestage of politics, the rise of Chiranjeevi could be the story of one of his films. Born on August 22, 1955, in Mogalturu, a remote village in the coastal district of West Godavari, Chiranjeevi’s original name was Konidela Siva Shankara Varaprasad.
The eldest of three sons of a constable in the excise department, he moved to Chennai after graduation to seek a career in the film industry and joined a film institute in 1977. His success in Tollywood, traditionally dominated by a handful of powerful families, was particularly sweet as he had no family connection in the industry and his rise was attributed to his grit, determination and hard work.
Chiranjeevi rose to fame with his first big hit Khaidi in 1983, a film that gave him the image of an action hero. He churned out a string of blockbusters in the 1980s, including Challenge, Abhilasha , Rakshasudu and Pasivadi Pranam. Moving beyond his action hero image, Chiru donned a wide range of roles in the 1990s with loaded political messages like Hitler, Indra, Annayya and Stalin.
At the peak of his career, he was among the highest paid actors in the country and has a massive following, particularly among the youth. He married Surekha, daughter of popular yesteryear comedian Allu Ramalingayya, in 1980. Chiranjeevi professes “social justice” as his political philosophy, but he opposed his teenage daughter Srija’s inter-caste marriage. When his daughter eloped with her lover and married him in a secret Arya Samaj ceremony in August 2007, Chiranjeevi did nothing to reach out to her. It is said that he has not invited the couple home till date.
Chiranjeevi’s plunge into politics was driven more by his popularity as an actor than by any ideological vigour. “He is a prisoner of his own screen image. The core of his personality is one of a gullible and sensitive small town boy, struggling to come to terms with the demands of a ruthless world dominated by money, fame and public image,” says producer-director T Bharadwaj.
His brother-in-law and noted film producer Allu Aravind is widely seen as the brain behind his political moves, having played a key role in the formation of the PRP and then its merger with the Congress. After being relieved of the burden of running an incoherent party organisation, Chiranjeevi now hopes to emerge as a main vote-catcher in the Congress with the help of his star appeal. “We are confident that he will definitely establish himself and the Congress will entrust responsibility to him to lead the party in the 2014 elections,” said senior PRP leader K Vidyadhar Rao.
Chiranjeevi is likely to be inducted into the Union Cabinet through the Rajya Sabha route while four ministerial berths would be given to his legislators in Andhra Pradesh. By aggressively wooing Chiranjeevi into its fold, the Congress has sent out a message that the creation of a separate Telangana state was not on its radar. The PRP has been opposing the bifurcation of the state as a major chunk of its 16 per cent vote share in the previous elections came from the coastal Andhra region.
Congress leaders perceive twin advantages in the new relationship. First, Chiranjeevi can bring in the much-needed glamour to the party in the wake of a vacuum created by the death of the charismatic leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Second, the move can help neutralise Jagan, Rajasekhar Reddy’s politically ambitious son.
While Jagan chose to ignore PRP’s merger with the Congress, the TDP dubbed it as an “unholy alliance”. “Chiranjeevi spoke about social justice but he ended up securing justice for himself,” TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu remarked. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), fighting for a separate state, hopes to turn the development to its advantage. “If the Congress wants to give Telangana, one hurdle has gone. The only party propagating a united Andhra Pradesh has gone now,” said TRS leader K Chandrasekhara Rao.
The PRP had bagged 16 per cent vote share in its maiden electoral battle in 2009, most of it contributed by the coastal Andhra region from where Chiranjeevi hails. The numerically strong “Kapu” community is seen as the main support base of his party. “He may be a popular and mass hero but he could not evolve as a politician. There was no option for him other than winding up his party since a majority of his legislators were seen hobnobbing with the Congress,” said Dr P Prabhakar, a one-time close confidante of the actor.
On his part, Chiranjeevi is also aware of his political limitations and needs the Congress platform to further his career. In the absence of a mass leader in the Congress, he even has a chance of being projected as chief ministerial candidate in the 2014 elections. Chiranjeevi can work his way up the ladder in the Congress if he plays his cards well and adjusts himself to the footwork that the Congress culture demands.
A popular SMS joke that did the rounds after Chiranjeevi merged his party with the Congress read: “Did the hero in the first half of the movie turn into a side-kick in the second half?” That is an image that the actor-turned-politician would have to fight off as the battle for political power in Andhra Pradesh hots up.

Indian inventor claims to have made ‘flying car’
London:
An Indian inventor, A.K. Vishwanath, has claimed that he has made a flying car with the help of India''s first small car, Maruti.
Made out of a seemingly ordinary 800cc Maruti car, it has rotor blades affixed to the roof with extended wheelarches creating a “vacuum section”, and has been one of the star attractions at the Aero India 2011 air show in Bangalore.
Maruti, built in the 1980s by Suzuki, and has formed the basis of inventor Vishwanath''s dream.
The 52-year-old has spent 16 years working on the “flying Maruti”, and claims it has vertical lift-off and he has tested a scale version tested in a wind tunnel, reports the Daily Mail.
So far, he has garnered 40 patents, and told reporters his inspiration came from many sources, including the flying ability of bees. Other engineers are also working on the project.
He told reporters that the car is powered initially by an electrical generator, after which its engine pumps out so-called ''energy flows'' which provide lift-off and cruising.
The car was developed by Vishwanath''s company, B''Lorean, named after his home of Bangalore and the winged DeLorean sports car of the 1980s, famously used as a time machine in Hollywood'' flick ‘Back To The Future’ series of films.

Finally - Highlights of 2010 - Published!
I will put all the highlights of 2010 (of my personal life) month wise below:
January' 10
After a tragic road accident on December 24th 2009 (my aunt & cousins) it took a very long time for me to come out of it and thus no New Year fresh mood, no Sankranti festival nothing. Somehow I managed and saw two movies in Jan – Adhurs and Namo Venkatesa – one with ValueLabs colleagues and later with cousins to come out of my disturbed mood. But, I did not enjoyed either movies (though they were comedy oriented)!
February’ 10
As I mentioned earlier, nothing much happened in Feb. But I need to enjoy my last days in ValueLabs (I put my resignation on December 28th 2009 and got relieved on March 19th 2010, a very long notice period). This month I have started with Bindaas with cousins and later part of the month with Leader (Best Movie of the Year – as per me). Heard a lot about Ye-Maaya-Chesaave enjoyed its music album very much but missed to watch that movie until early August (Until its DVD Release).
March’ 10
This is the time for me to take one of the crucial decisions (Professional) of joining which company after ValueLabs. Now I have two other offers in hand –other than CES – one from Sierra Atlantic and another from Intelligroup, but finally I made decision to join CES. CES waited almost 100 days for me to join them after offering this position on 15th December 2009 (I initially had a discussion with Mr. Venkat Davarapalli, CEO and Founder of CES on December 7th2009). Joined CES on 29th March 2010! By the way, Varudu disappointed me – my favourite actors’ first flop of the year.
April’10
New - work style, work culture, atmosphere, timings, everything new at CES, already started getting good results. Wow I have a closure in the very first month – small project but big company....Building a very good pipeline, our boss is extremely happy with my performance. Everything is going cool! Googling – Blogging – Exploring Web to the maximum (night shift effect). Joined almost all the reputed Social networking and Professional Networking sites.... Coming to movies – missed one of the best movies in the recent times “Prasthanam”in theatres. However I had a chance to watch this movie on my Laptop with its DVD Release towards the end of the year. Darling is well made by Karunakaran Team, enjoyed the movie. But missed BK’s come back movie Simha.
May’10
Started the month with a local bike trip with School friends (to Sri Parwathi Jadala Ramalingeswara Swamy Devasthanam,Cheruvugattu). About 60 KMs from LB Nagar, Hyderabad towards Vijayawada. This is the month I have started my blogsite (chaitanyakumarv.blogspot.com)– basically habituated to stay late in the nights in the office and explored internet in various ways – this is the end result. Bye the way, I am rocking at CES! Back to back meetings, teleconferences have a great pipeline etc. Madhyalo Kites Movie Choosa – Movie with a Great Production Values! My Marriage Date Fixed, Cards Distribution, New Job Offer at ZenQA, My Resignation at CES, So many twists in the month of August 2010. In the meantime Don Seenu choosa, good one by Ravi Teja, Comedy Kummesadu. With a huge list of Big Movie releases in the second half of 2010, I thought it is a festive season for Telugu Movie Lovers, starting with Jhummandhi Naadham, Yamudu, Subhapradham, Maryadha Ramanna, Don Seenu, Gaayam2, Komaram Puli, Robo, Mahesh Khaleja, Brindaavanam, Rakta Charitra, Bava, Kalyanram Kathi, Orange, Rakta Charitra2, Kathi Kantha Rao, Nagavalli, Manmadha Baanam, Ragada, Ranga the Donga & Broker (20 Movies out of 62 - Released in the second half of 2010 were at least seems to be promising) but none of these 62 movies make huge profits!
September’10
After August 13th there is no blog in my blogspot, coz I am married now and hardly getting chance to spend time on internet! (In fact I was at Gurramguda for the first 16 days after my marriage – so no internet connection on my laptop/computer/mobile). Back to Office on 13th September 2010 after a 16 day break including weekends. Gaayam 2 is our first movie after Marriage, Komaram Puli being the second. My brother gifted me Nokia 3350, wow! it is too good with variety of features. Marriage Gifts from relatives and friends made me happy, they are very much useful!
October’10
New lifestyle after marriage – Brindavanam Movie with In-Laws at Vizag, enjoyed the Visakapatnam Trip. Robo, Khaleja and Rakta Charitra are also there in the list of October month’s quota of movies. Exactly after 2 months break, on 13th October I have started blogging again.
November’10
Only Movie in the month of November is Orange! Started planning for closing the year in a grand way! Implementing everything as per the plan
December’10
Rakta Charitra 2 disappointed (kept very high expectations after watching RC) but at the same time it was not horrible; it was good – I would say, RGV is finally succeeded in tollywood with his style of film making.. We had our marriage registered, and very big thing is we owned a plot – that’s a major achievement. Followed by Vijayawada Trip...(for the first time in my life).
So overall, there were
1 Job Change, 2 Promotions, 3 Knots, 4 Closures, 5 Job Offers, 6 Trips (Long Journeys), 7 Steps, 8 New Electronic Gadgets, 9 Months of New Lifestyle, 10 Twists & Surprises, 11 Investments, 12 Months of Happy Life...... 24 Telugu Movies (18 in Theatres and 6 in TV/DVD – Out of 149 Movies Released in 2010) in my life (in 2010)!
My first blog is on Leader Movie, followed by review on Hrithik’s Kites…

Ala Modalaindi Movie Review
Sorry Friends, for the delayed review - but as you all know I am tooooooo busy after marriage. Atleast now I have some time to blog it!
For all those who did not see the movie this is must to read!
Analysis:
Nandini Reddy, wow what a talented director! She did an amazing job, has a great potential and grip on the subject she selected. Story she prepared, Screenplay, and Direction she made are awesome. Tollywood certainly need such directors, story is not so new, screenplay is not so great, direction is not dynamic - but all I would say is she did an amazing job with the selection of casting and command on the subject she wants to picturize. Heroine Nitya Menon, Hero Nani along with other artists: Sneha Ullal, Kriti Karbandha, Chaitanya Krishna, Pragati, Rohini, Uppalapati Narayana Rao, Hemanth, Raja Valluru, Pinky, Rhea etc. were apt for their respective roles and did justice. Coming back to the Director - Nandini being a lady director has the grip on the emotions and fresh thoughts with respect to movie making. Overall the movie is an example for a perfect team work, with dedicated team efforts and talent.
Detailed Report:
Story and Subject is definetly a good selection, specifically the way movie picturized with jovial scenes and characterizations of each role are highlights. Director tried to attract audience starting from the first scene of the movie with a suspense oriented scene, Ashish Vidhyarthi kidnapping the Hero - Nani! Since then until the last scene - irrespective of the emotion, the story - every scene is enjoyable by the audience bcoz of its freshness and homour involved in the movie. As expected (in small budget movies) there is a lot of scope for all the artists to perform in the movie including Nitya, Nani their friends among others. This part is successfully achieved by everyone and the open secret of the success of the movie is Performances of artists with the sense of humor planned by Nandini - the Director. While Nani proved himself as a successful hero once again with Ala Modalaindi, Nitya Menon grabs attention of Tollywood Lovers with her impressive performance, I am sure she has a brilliant future in the film industry. Interestingly there were no big/reputed comedian in the movie but Movie has a great humor in it - which is infact the highlights of the movie. Last 30 Mins of the movie is full of humor, handled by a junior artist (comedian) and Ashish Vidhyarthi with their extra-ordinary performances and control over the situation. Music by Kalyani Malik is good at few scenes and Songs are just OK, little disappointment with lyrics. Cinematography was not so great, Costumes are good, Editing can be better (especially in the first 30 Mins in the second half) and all other technical departments did their job decently.
I hope Nandini will come up with more subjects like this even in the future to save the industry!
Overall movie is must watching, as there is a high ROI, after all audience would love to enjoy the movie with comedy and freshness. (4.25/5) A perfect youthful & family comedy movie with a perfect control on script & screenplay.
For all those who did not see the movie this is must to read!
